Legal Assistant/Paralegal (Flagstaff, Arizona)

Arizona, Flagstaff / sedona 00000 Flagstaff / sedona USA

Vacancy expired!

At Performance Staffing, we take pride in the fact that we are the only employment service in the Flagstaff area that is not connected with a national chain. This makes us more responsive and flexible, allowing us to focus on our clients and our candidates needs. Our staff has been able to build strong partnerships in the Flagstaff area through our dedication to professional service and integrity.

Performance Staffing has paired with a local governing agency, as they are in need of a Legal Administrator/Assistant to join their team on a fulltime, temporary basis (open-ended temporary, at this stage). This position is available because a current paralegal was promoted within the organization, and they require someone with experience in the legal field to help bridge that support gap. The chosen candidate will have proven skills and experience across a range of legal assistance and administration tasks, such as:

Composing and formatting correspondence from written drafts of legal documents

Gathering, reviewing and verifying case documentation

Organizing, scanning, copying and filing of legal documents

Assisting attorneys with coordination of criminal case matters and documents for court proceedings

Facilitating compliance with criminal procedures in accordance with state and federal statute

Maintaining confidentiality of case matters

Filing court documents both electronically and physically

Receiving and processing emotionally traumatic and graphic material

Data entry and data reporting

And will also be:

Highly professional, organized and customer-oriented with a high attention to detail

Able to prioritize, coordinate multiple projects and tasks, and work to tight deadlines

An effective communicator, both written and verbal, to a range of different audiences (e.g., law enforcement, victims, witnesses, legal counsel, court personnel, etc.)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Able to effectively work in stressful and sensitive situations

Able to pass a nation-wide background check

If you are interested in this role, and have proven experience with a range of the above responsibilities, apply today! Please include an up-to-date resume and covering letter detailing your relevant experience. Contact Staffing Specialist, Sarah Vanier (928-526-6499) with any questions, citing this advertisement.
