Opportunity is here. We are DISH. The Technical Operations Center Technician (TOC) will perform operation duties in a variety of technical and administrative roles including monitoring content, responding to alarms, escalating issues, documenting summary of events and communicating with stake-holders regarding daily operations for customers of services provided for both DBS and streaming platforms.

Primary responsibilities:

The TOC team is responsible for identifying, documenting, escalating and following-up on service-related channel issues for customers for DISH, DISH Mexico, Sling, and others.
  • Monitor on-air programming of local, national and international broadcasters
  • Answer multiple phone calls and email correspondence
  • Respond to customer complaints from the call center
  • Help identify, document and escalate signal quality issues and incidents
  • Support communication with management teams, affiliates and other third party partners
  • Coordinate with internal teams and outside providers to determine cause of outages
  • Make great contributions to the team and is a great team player
  • Tracks and reports discrepancies

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or two years of experience/training in related field or, equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years' experience with Google G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office and have advanced computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure documents
  • Ability to work any schedule as assigned in order to meet the needs of the 24/7 business
  • Ability to type accurately between 35-40 WPM
  • Possesses strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times
  • Ability to monitor services that include adult content without objections
  • Strong prioritization skills within a fast paced environment
