Your Role:
  • This role will provide senior-level expertise on decisions and priorities related to application and system enhancements, that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.
  • Your work:
  • Reviews planned resource and capacity; risk assessed and created contingency plans.
  • Responsible for significant contributions to enterprise-wide planning efforts.
  • Reviews, designs, and leads the installation of IT infrastructure elements such as standard software/hardware builds, network/telephony equipment installation and/or configuration, server installation, and/or configuration.
  • Evaluate system options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on processes and goals.
  • Develops metrics, tools, and processes for monitoring systems performance.
  • Provides overall leadership in the design, development, and deployment of software and hardware solutions within area of specialization.
  • Tracks prevailing trends and actively seeks ways to apply technology to business processes.
  • Ensures efficient and reliable functioning of large and/or multiple integrated systems.
  • Reviews current and proposed business practices for management, backup, and recovery of systems within Domain of expertise.
  • Develops and implements changes through normal change control processes.
  • Often direct others in accomplishing needed activities.
  • Develop metrics to assess system or product performance against best-in-class measurements.
  • May direct or coordinate communication and training.
  • May establish operational objectives and assignments and delegate assignments to other group members.
  • Collaborate with other domain experts to contribute to the enterprise architecture strategy.
  • May participate in rotating on-call support. Responsible for resolution of service outages and other service problems during an on-call period.
  • On call may occur during standard or non-standard business hours.
  • Experience in ETL processing using tools like Streamsets and their respective dependent ecosystem components
  • Experience in setup and configuration of the applications and their components
  • Ensure the integrity, availability, reliability, security, and performance of platforms, tools, and services
  • Strong Performance troubleshooting abilities with end-users, including connectivity issues due to firewalls, load balancers
  • Be able to proactively monitor the overall system and provide suggestions to improve the overall performance
  • Day-to-day administration activities: Lead users, groups, privileges, roles, and permissions, configuring DB connections, etc.
  • Plan and build roadmaps for the future of the data integration platform and influence IT with the latest Industry trends, products, standard methodologies and improve the overall state of Data Analytics administration
  • Troubleshoot issues related to databases, job failures, software bugs, and performance bottlenecks to all incidents working with multiple cross-functional teams like DBA, Unix Server Administrator, Vendor Support and work on problems and drive them to resolutions
  • Automate different administration tasks
  • Design, execute, and present profiling/audit results, in summary, and in detail, to the business analyst, data steward, and project management
  • Provide detailed documentation and maintain a knowledge base repository
  • Supporting the development teams as needed
What would make us excited about you?
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies like (Snowflake Cloud DW, AWS components)
  • 3 + years on the Unix OS as a user
  • 3 + years on the Oracle and other DBs
  • 5+ years in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing preferred
  • Good understanding of Oracle RAC environment, Backend systems like Snowflake, AWS Storage components
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface and communicate effectively with team members within and across project teams
  • Experience with monitoring tools to support the respective applications and their performance
  • Experience in domain management tasks including the backup and restore
  • Expertise in data mapping, data validation, data manipulation, data analysis, use case, test cases, etc.
  • Detailed knowledge in databases, schemas, table structures, data models
  • Good Scripting knowledge to automate day to day and complex tasks
  • Shows respect for differences through excellent communication skills with people from an array of backgrounds.

The national average salary range for this position is $132,840-$147,600. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $119,520-$117,110. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
