We are rapidly connecting the present and the future - one innovative idea at a time.Boeing Defense, Space & Securit y (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to support the Phantom Works team in Berkeley, MO.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle.

Provides Quality leadership and support for the Advanced Composite Fabrication Center (ACFC)

Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.

Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.

Supports the implementation and execution of Early Quality Involvement (EQI) on various Phantom Works programs

Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility.

Supporting a team in Mesa, St. Louis and Philadelphia

Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position allows limited telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform most of their work onsite at the Boeing Mesa location.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

3+ years of experience in composites manufacturing

5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Experience in management or leading teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with new development programs

Experience documenting corrective actions and non-conformance

Experience in Supplier Quality processes

Experience developing/managing metrics and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA)

Experience leading and executing Advance Product Quality Planning Activities (APQP)
