Growing international manufacturer is looking for 2 Manufacturing Technicians or Engineering Technicians to join their team - 1 for 2nd shift and 1 for 3rd shift (shift differential pay provided). Position comes with full benefits and career growth opportunities.

Engineering Technician will:

  • Perform repairs, calibrations and preventive/predictive maintenance work at a proficient level to minimize production downtime while maintaining excellent safety, human relations, and environmental standards.
  • Perform repairs on production equipment and maintain production equipment in good working condition.
  • Perform repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment from written instructions, sketches, plans, diagrams, oral descriptions or self-determined job requirements based on observed conditions.
  • Troubleshoot operational problems from field devices all the way to DCS I/O to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Document conditions, actions, procedures and results of work, tests or inspections performed as required by Company policies and procedures.
  • Document work performed on production equipment by maintaining accurate records or logs.

Qualifications:

  • AAS Degree in Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation Technology, Engineering, Refrigeration, HVAC, Welding/Metal Fabrication, or other applicable technical degree plus two years industrial maintenance experience or HS diploma or equivalent with three years of industrial maintenance experience in appropriate disciplines.
  • Ability to analyze maintenance problems and develop corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple jobs at one time.
  • General knowledge of Arizona building codes, engineering specifications, OSHA and safety procedures, NFPA, NEC, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (preferred CADD operator experience).
  • Ability to develop sketches or field orders from field observations.
  • Ability to work with outside vendors and contractors to perform maintenance task.
