HIGHLAND EXPRESS SHUTTLE SERVICE (Bullhead City, AZ)
The information below is for a part-time van driver position with Highland Express Shuttle Service:
Location: Applicant must live within 10 minutes driving time of Bullhead City.
Position: Shuttle Van Driver, Part-time (Two days a week on average; occasional coverage for primary driver).
This position WILL NOT evolve into a full-time position.
ATTN: Applicant must be OVER 25 years of age
Veteran's Preference: YES
Vehicle Type: 15 Passenger Ford E-350 Transit Van
Work Week: Most Thursdays & Fridays, with an occasional Sunday when needed.
Route: Driver departs Bullhead City with destination being the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) / Hotel) in Phoenix, AZ, and return. The driver will make a stop along the way in Lake Havasu to pick up applicants along the way.
Benefits: 401K, Workers Compensation, Dental, Vision, Vacation, and merit-based bonuses at end of year.
Benefits available after 90 days of hire.
Training: Drive will receive two (2) days of training with an optional third day at discretion of the trainer.
Salary: Driver will be compensated at $140.00 a day for each day worked.
Raises: All raises are performance-based. Driver will be considered for a raise after first 90 days, and annually thereafter.
Pay Period: Pay earned between the 1st and 15th of the month will be deposited at the end of the month; pay earned between 16th and 31st of month will be deposited on the 15th of the next month. All pay is set up as direct deposit, and both federal and state taxes will be deducted.
Requirements: High school diploma/GED, clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), Police Record Check, Pre-Employment Drug Screening, must be able to pass a Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Exam (Company Paid), CDL IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED. Must be familiar with and capable of running an Electronic Logging (E-LOG) system, and able to complete some paperwork while on the route.
Job Description: Van driver will transport Military Applicants from Armed Forces Recruiting Centers located on the above described route to the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) in Phoenix. The Company provides the vehicle along with maintenance, fuel, and mobile phone.
