Title: Atlassian Systems Engineer Mandatory skills:JIRA, Confluence,Docker, Docker containers, Docker Compose files,Linux system administration,desk procedure, security vulnerabilities, responsible systems, responsible functions,customer service, customer support, user support,Atlassian applications, Crowd, Bitbucket, Atlassian installation,on premises server, data center editions, configurations, performance tuning, security improvements Description: Installing, upgrading, optimizing and troubleshooting Atlassian applications including JIRA, Confluence, Crowd, Bitbucket and others (on-premises server and data center editions).Migrating Windows-hosted Atlassian installations to Docker containers.System level configurations, performance tuning, and security improvements.Provide ideas for improving JIRA and Confluence instances.Additionally and as needed:
Maintain documentation and desk procedures for responsible systems/functions.Remediate security vulnerabilities for responsible systems.Participate as subject matter expert on cross-functional project teams.Adhere to Incident, Problem, Configuration and Change Management processes and controls.Perform user/customer support including answering requests for assistance, creating tickets, and performing troubleshooting operations.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESMinimum three years’ experience as a systems engineer/administrator with a primary focus working with Atlassian Jira and/or Confluence.Minimum one year experience creating and administering Docker containers.Proven customer service skills and ability to work well with all levels of staff.Proven time management and self-organization skills.Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem resolution skills and analytical ability.Ability to work within established operational policies and guidelines.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the agency.Ability to occasionally work after business hours to perform scheduled changes.PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESCertifications in Jira or Confluence, ACP-JCA or equivalent.Working knowledge and experience working with Docker containers, writing Docker and/or Docker-Compose files.Linux system administration experience.BS in Computer/Information Systems.
