A high-tech commercial banking company is seeking to hire an Enterprise Architect to join their team as they undergo a major transformation to shift towards modern cloud-based solutions. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be the credit domain expert and a key contributor on architectural governance and decisions related to various projects. In collaboration with other architects in the organization, you will have the opportunity to research and identify the optimal technology stack and assess the feasibility by building rapid PoCs. The ideal candidate for this role has a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and knowledge of security and privacy concepts are a plus. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years of professional, software development, solutions architect, or architect experience
- 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and architecting industry solutions
- 5+ years of experience in application architecture, design patterns, and cloud patterns
- 2+ years of experience as a domain or principal architect
- Experience architecting credit solutions in commercial banking
- Experience interacting with senior leadership (C-suite)
- Understanding of the business and product aspects of the credit world
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, or related field
- Professional experience with architectural patterns, building APIs and microservices
- 7+ years architecting highly scalable and reliable back-end systems
- 3+ years building cloud native architectures on public cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc.)
- Public speaking experience (conferences, industry forums, etc.)
- Experience and/or knowledge of consumer banking
- Competitive Pay: Up to $100/hour, DOE
- Contract Duration: 12 months with the possibility of conversion
