Position: Frontend Engineer

WWT Application Services designs, builds, and delivers, custom applications for customers including digital experiences for web, native mobile, and beyond.   • Thrives at the intersection of engineering and design; believes the frontend is where the magic happens between conceptual design and software development.
  • Lives for digital products. Has 3+ years of experience building frictionless, performant, accessible, and elegant user experiences.
  • Leads user interface development within a cross-functional team, taking ownership and enabling the team to implement a cohesive experience.
  • Leverages your core competencies of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when building bug-free experiences with CSS preprocessors and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, etc.
  • Writes clean, modern JavaScript, including ES6, asynchronous programming, types (TypeScript/Flow), and integrating with APIs
  • Architects' user-centered experiences that are maintainable, scalable, and testable.
  • Immerses themselves in frontend engineering, remaining aware of modern engineering practices, platform updates, and tooling.
  • Considers a bug as an opportunity to grow and dive deeper while prevailing with a solution and greater depth of knowledge.
  • Rapidly conveys concepts through working prototypes.
  • Ships code with confidence, writing purposeful tests at necessary levels (unit, integration, and end-to-end), preventing regressions with each continuous deployment.
  • Believes that accessibility and inclusivity is not optional - but is a core requirement to building any digital solution.
  • Sees no boundaries to their influence, broadening their skills into non-traditional web platforms (iOS, Android, Electron, React Native, Flutter, etc.).
