Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Network Engineer with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Design, install, secure, operate, troubleshoot, manage, and support all Networking Infrastructure
- Develop detailed end-to-end network layer 2/3 best practice designs and drawings to support all areas of ethernet switching, routing, OSPF, BGP, IPv4/6, multicast, route table virtualization (VRFs) and virtualized networking infrastructures
- Design, install and maintain secure micro-network segmented networking plans
- Design, install, configure, and maintain end-to-end network traffic shaping and prioritization configurations to support latency sensitive Video and VoIP application services
- Maintain and troubleshoot various types of carrier circuits (i.e. T1, PRI, DIA, ETHERNET, MPLS)
- Monitor network capacity performance against established baselines and service levels
- Design, configure, install, and optimize wireless networks for traditional office locations or project sites
- Design, configure, install, and maintain highly available network solutions to support critical application computing services
- Use network protocol analyzers to solve complex networking problems or to audit, test and optimize Networks
- 10+ years of experience in the design, implementation, monitoring and management of enterprise LAN and WAN including operations of Internet, MPLS, Ethernet and Wireless networks
- Advanced experience of Cisco ASA FirePOWER (NGFW, IPS, IDS), Cisco AnyConnect, Cisco Catalyst 9300, Nexus 9300, and Nexus 9500 switches
- Advanced experience of Cisco Meraki MR Access Points (WIFI-6) and MX security appliances
- Experience with enterprise class storage networking solutions using FC, FCoE, iSCSI
- Experience working with Adtran routers
- Experience working with enterprise network monitoring applications such as Solarwinds Orion, WhatsUp Gold, and PRTG
- Experience with the design, configuration, and operation of 802.11 technology
- Experience working with end-to-end enterprise QoS
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure virtualized networks, Microsoft Teams, and other competing cloud management virtualized platforms
- Advanced experience of TCP/IP, IP/CIDR subnetting, Spanning-Tree, SNMP, SMTP, SSL, SSH, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, AAA, Radius, TACACS, NPS, and 802.1X
