Schwab is looking for adaptable, hardworking data scientist developers who relish the opportunity to see their code and presentations make a difference As a Senior Member within the Cybersecurity Application Development and Engineering Team, you'll serve as a versatile senior developer data scientist, delivering data backed products that advance our security posture and response capabilities. What you are good atYou'll exercise your expertise in Data Science, Data Engineering, Enterprise IT Operations, Systems Monitoring, and Technology Orchestration practices to bring a holistic technology perspective to outstanding security challenges. Using your technical leadership experience in the previous mentioned areas, you'll provide thought leadership in the delivery of products to magnify our Security Operations staff, fostering their capabilities to detect and counter sophisticated, emerging threats. What you have- Code source control, unit testing, Machine Learning model development and testing, and agile methodologies is paramount.
- Enterprise System Monitoring and the automation of incident response.
- Orchestration and Automation products
- Thought leadership with Python, C#, .Net, RESTFul Methodologies, Git, and Continuous Integration/Deployment tooling.
- Machine learning frameworks (sci kit learn and tensor flow) and model development (experience with different types of classifiers, hyper parameter tuning, etc.).
- Experience with data pre-processing tools like GCP's Dataflow
- Crafting software architecture documents with demonstrated efficiency influencing the cross-organizational teams to align with your direction.
- Keep current technology trends and innovations and bring new techniques to your team and projects
- Capable of clearly articulating sophisticated technical issues to all levels of the organization. Highly motivated self-starter and standout colleague.
- Passionate about technology and committed to continual improvement.
- Phenomenal problem solver with ability to quickly identify bottlenecks, potential problems in multi-process, multi-threaded code.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field is required
