Work you'll do

As a Secure by Design Senior Consultant, you will be at the front lines with our clients supporting them with their DevSecOps needs helping them embed security throughout their development lifecycles by implementing industry leading practices around cyber risk, application security, and cloud security. You will execute on DevSecOps security engagements during different phases of the lifecycle - assessment, design, implementation, and post-implementation reviews, particularly you will:
  • Design, implement, manage, and automate Application and Infrastructure security tools (containerized Scanning and VM tools) along with integrations to CI/CD pipelines, automated workflows, script-based integrations, etc.
  • Perform current state analysis of an organization's system security controls and measures against industry leading security standards, and provide recommendations for enhancement
  • Serve as a subject matter resource on cloud cyber risk for at least one of the leading cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure/ Office 365, Google Cloud Platform, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle Cloud)
  • Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support Secure by Design service offerings and client engagements.
  • Verify of security systems by developing and implementing test scripts
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with security embedded using such technologies as Terraform and CloudFormation

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of information technology and/or information security experience
  • 3+ hands-on DevOps and/or DevSecOps engineering experience
  • API programming or other software development experience
  • Hands-on technical experience with at least one cloud platform in security or infrastructure implementation and operations.
  • Experience in architecting and deploying secure software in defined and virtualized networks
  • Knowledge in designing, implementing, and managing DevSecOps capabilities in both on-premise and cloud offerings using CI/CD toolsets and automation
  • Experience with various public cloud services Using Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform strongly preferred

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Identify opportunities to improve services delivered to our clients.
  • Work with service delivery professionals across multiple geographic regions.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:
  • BA/BS Degree ideally in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering or Information Technology
  • Certifications such as: CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security/DevOps/Professional Certifications
  • Depth of experience with vulnerability assessment and reporting including comprehensive understanding of vulnerability management methodologies, procedures and infrastructure vulnerability scanning solutions for on premise, cloud and hybrid environments
  • Background and knowledge of general security concepts, such as defense-in-depth, least privilege, security architecture and design, threat modeling, etc.
  • Knowledge of security and privacy-related industry standards and frameworks such as BSIMM, OWASP, NIST SP 800-115, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, CIS, etc.
  • Knowledge of a variety of application technologies, platforms, services and languages
  • A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, technologies, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of business process, user provisioning process, and security maintenance processes
