Job Description

As part of the Customer Experience team, the Customer Experience Representative is the key contact for the company’s authorized distribution network.Working within a team environment, this role is responsible for producing layouts using the company's in house software Project Center, quoting projects, order processing and efficiently responding to client requests.This role closely collaborates with operations and sales staff.

Key Accountabilities

· Reviews project specifications to ensure product compliance

· Creates accurate quotations and layout drawings for customers.

· Processes orders, credits, freight claims and RMAs.

· Responds to customer calls, emails and technical questions regarding products

· Provides effective customer support by maintaining service level agreements to agents and distributors

· Effectively communicates and collaborates with operations staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues with customers’ orders and shipments.

· Effectively communicates and collaborates with sales channel to deliver exceptional customer support

· Effectively backs up other members of the customer service team.

· Testing & Use of Project Center NEXT.

· Create & implement department/company process changes and improvement initiatives.

· Maintains data in JD Edwards and Case Management regarding communication with customers.

· Uses JD Edwards system to effectively obtain information about stock, ship dates, etc

· Contributes to the overall functioning of the team by maintaining awareness of best practices/emerging issues, both internally and externally, sharing best practices and building effective working relationships across the team and company.

Qualifications

· Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

· Strong customer orientation

· Ability to multi task with excellent organizational skills

· Strong technical ability to interpret architectural drawings and perform 2D drawings

· Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail

· Proven problem solving ability

· Experience in a Manufacturing environment an asset

· Working knowledge of MRP systems (JD Edwards and Hubble an asset)

· Computer proficiency including MS Office suite, working knowledge of AutoCad an asset

· Bachelors’ Degree or Diploma in a related discipline (technical, mechanical or equivalent hands on mechanical experience)

· 3-5 years of experience in a Customer Support related role, preferable supporting a specialized or technical product
