Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. There are great neighborhoods around Phoenix, with easy access to a major city, nature, the arts and many more amenities. DescriptionUnder general supervision, provide support for operational, engineering applications and data systems. Develop and maintain a strong familiarity with mining practices; mineral processing practices; tailings, crushed leach and water; environment; and related technology systems including their functionality and limitations. Design, coordinate and support system enhancements by working with vendors, application developers, engineers and operational users. Assist with data-driven process improvement and monitoring projects.

Support clients of operational applications by providing data for specific requests, resolving issues with system functionality and performance, and training clients in the proper use of features of these applications

Create reports using advanced querying and report building standard tools and maintain existing reports to account for system changes or changes in client/operational requirements.

Perform database administration tasks

Monitor and maintain system health of supported applications

Design and plan enhancements to current systems and coordinate the implementation of these plans with vendors, application owners and other involved parties.

Performs other duties as required.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering or analytical field (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or related discipline and one (1) years of relevant work experience, OR

Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering or analytical field (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or related discipline and one (1) internship in Data Analytics, Data Science, or in an analytics related field that included data analysis as part of the internship OR

Master’s degree in a technical engineering or analytical field (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or related discipline.

Python, SQL, or JavaScript programming experience

Geospatial software experience (ESRI or open-sourced)

Geospatial mobile application development experience

Experience visualizing data utilizing programmatic techniques

Experience with environmental data management systems (e.g., EQuIS)

Native proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Data Architecture, engineering, and ETL processes

Confident and experienced in public speaking to large audiences and storytelling with data

Familiarity with Knowledge Management systems and strategies

Strong verbal and written skills in English language.

Criteria/Conditions:

Travel required up to 25-30%

Position is in busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ

Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator. Occasionally Working will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting.

Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.

Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds.

Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.

Personal protective equipment is required when performing Working in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.

What We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently  $73,000-$100,000 . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
