Because you are passionate about business transformation, you look at data through a strategic lens and assess the feasibility of potential solutions based on their impact to the organization's future roadmap. Working directly with business leaders, you will assist in translating their challenges into problem statements by beginning every assignment with questions around business needs and the impact.Some of the things you'll be doing will includeAct as a trusted advisor on analytical thinking and consult on topics such as experimental design, statistical techniques, and interpretation of findings to enable better informed, data-driven decision making

Enable and influence leadership’s intentional use of data to make data-driven decisions, identifying pain points, developing a problem statement, and deriving hypotheses which may explain the root cause

Identify and run transformative projects in collaboration with your manager and the business that will put us on track to achieve our future direction

Determine the right statistical techniques to test hypotheses and conduct analyses that involve combining data from multiple systems or sources.

Create informative and actionable insights, with a sufficient level of statistical rigor, that highlight relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement

Conduct meetings and executive level presentations to effectively communicate complex statistical ideas and findings to both lay and analytics audiences

Collaborate cross functionally with all levels of management and our Data Science & Engineering team when their expertise and data solutions are required to deliver the optimal output for your project (e.g., generalized linear models, regularized regression, decision trees/random forests, clustering etc.)

Who you areExperienced . 8+ years of relevant training experience with advance statistics training and Tableau Software experience required. Prior experience in a subscription software environment is a plus.

Analytical. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills demonstrated in formulating hypotheses and applying data analysis for obtaining solutions while optimizing for efficiency and quality. Ability to glean insight from data and the wherewithal to develop findings and actionable recommendations.

Technical . Knowledge of relational database technologies and ability to become a specialist in Tableau Software’s full product suite. Data extraction, cleaning, and coding experience is a plus (e.g., knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar tools). Financial modeling experience is preferred.

Compelling Communicator . Speaks and writes with clear purpose; influences and engages executive leadership with authority and confidence. Strong ability to tell a story using data and data visualization training experience to present information.

Project Manager . Demonstrated project management experience; excellent organizational skills and must be able to work independently with limited guidance, as well, as collaborate successfully with other cross-functional teams.

Urgency. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment while handling details accurately, timely manner, under pressure with frequent interruptions.
