Conducts on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order. Isolates equipment start-up malfunctions and takes corrective action. May make technical presentations and has a strong knowledge of products. Trains customer personnel in equipment operation and maintenance responsibilities. Represents the company in a customer support role and is responsible for customer's satisfaction with equipment and servicing. - Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and process to meet goals outlines.
- Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives.
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Personal judgment and performance may affect the cost, schedule and quality of individual projects.
- Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause minor adverse delays in schedules.
- Interacts daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups and may interact w/customer.
- Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information.
- Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instruction on new assignments.
- Having the knowledge and experience, able to handle usual and common occurring job events with minimal assistance.
- Choice of action requires more than common sense before knowing what to do under special circumstances.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (or related field)
- 2+ years of related experience.
