We are unable to sponsor at this time.Position: Field Service Engineer ILocation: Phoenix, ArizonaDuration:3 months (Possibly Contract to hire)This family is responsible for performing customer support activities involving the installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Conducts on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order. Isolates equipment start-up malfunctions and takes corrective action. May make technical presentations and has a strong knowledge of products. Trains customer personnel in equipment operation and maintenance responsibilities. Represents the company in a customer support role and is responsible for customer's satisfaction with equipment and servicing. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee.)SCOPE:

  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and process to meet goals outlines.
  • Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives.
PROBLEM COMPLEXITY:
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
IMPACT:
  • Personal judgment and performance may affect the cost, schedule and quality of individual projects.
  • Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause minor adverse delays in schedules.
LIAISON:
  • Interacts daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups and may interact w/customer.
  • Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information.
FREEDOM TO ACT:
  • Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instruction on new assignments.
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY:
  • Having the knowledge and experience, able to handle usual and common occurring job events with minimal assistance.
  • Choice of action requires more than common sense before knowing what to do under special circumstances.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (or related field)
  • 2+ years of related experience.
