Requisition Number: 83646 Position Overview The Global Sales Support Analyst acts as the global liaison for communication and implementation of operational policies and procedures. This position helps facilitate strong relationships among Global Operations Center teammates worldwide. Incumbents will interface with most departments of the company, including Sales, Sales Operations, CAS, Marketing, Accounting, & Credit. The Global Sales Support Analyst is also responsible for the continuing development and maintenance of the Global Zone page. The position will report to the Mgr Client Services. What you'll do at Insight
  • Manage Global Zone. Insure that all documents and tools are kept current. Review on a weekly basis and revise as needed.
  • Support Global Help Desk - Utilize knowledge base and expertise to support questions regarding doing business on global basis.
  • Continual development of additional documents and tools needed to enable successful support of Insight sales teams on a global basis.
  • Work closely with all operations centers for process consistency.
  • Create and keep updated global process cheat sheets per publisher - Tier 1 and Tier 2.
  • Identify process improvements and develop solutions for business improvements through both internal and external contacts and research.
  • Resolve business issues related to support process and quality enhancements and define policies and procedures and as necessary.
  • Facilitate Intercompany order process with all operation centers as needed.
  • Operations Support and facilitator with Tax dept. on export and tax regulations.
  • Liaise with Global Training to insure that all training materials mirror the information contained on Global Zone.
  • Facilitate process change projects on a global basis.
  • Global subject matter expert for Operations (CAS, Purchasing, Credit, e-Services, etc.)
  • Manage global process improvement efforts.
  • Create and manage global resource guides.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to join Insight
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous industry experience is highly encouraged.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including training documentation and presentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Visio.
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems while maintaining a 'fresh eye' to improve/integrate other processes and systems, as well as having a desire to continually expand skills.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Ability to work independently and be an agent for change.
  • Good Project management skills with demonstrated success in leading, organizing, executing, and meeting deadlines for projects.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Articulate, polished professional who is comfortable with all levels of internal customers.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment where change is the norm.
  • Ability to interpret data and formulate recommendations and strategies to manage web content.
  • Detail oriented and customer focused.
  • International experience a plus.
