- Manages multiple project initiatives of various sizes, mostly small and minor.
- This includes managing all phases of projects from initiation through scoping, design, development, implementation, and post-implementation support.
- Responsible for working with Project Managers, Managers and Architects to coordinate activities and resources.
- Works to ensure high quality project deliverables are created, reports are produced, and projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting customer expectations.
- Manage multiple small or minor projects including development of proposal/charter, creating and maintaining work plans, managing the project team to complete their tasks, tracking and escalating issues, and creating and presenting weekly status reports .
- Work closely with Business, MIS or Site Representatives to gather requirements, scope projects, and determine solutions.
- Work with the infrastructure, security, applications, and operations teams to complete the project work and transition to support.
- Generate project reports including budgets, status, timesheets, etc.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree and at least six (6) years of experience working in an IT department, which includes three (3) years of Project Management experience on IT system implementations, AND experience managing multiple IT projects of various sizes at one time.
- Associate's degree and at least eight (8) years of experience working in an IT department, which includes five (5) years of Project Management experience on IT system implementations, AND experience managing multiple IT projects of various sizes at one time.
- High School diploma or equivalent and at least ten (10) years of experience working in an IT department, which includes seven (7) years of Project Management experience on IT system implementations, AND experience managing multiple IT projects of various sizes at one time.
- Experience using Microsoft Project and Project Server.
- Understanding of IT terminology and processes.
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
