Description: Role and Responsibilities:Under limited supervision, the IT Project Manager is responsible for accomplishing the stated project objectives on several small to mid-sized projects. The project manager is responsible for ensuring the end product produced by the project provides the expected benefit to the customer. The project manager will accomplish this by ensuring that each project has clearly defined requirements and adheres to Project Management methodologies to delivering to the Agency. Additionally, the Project Manager will be expected to oversee and coordinate all activities related to the project from initiation to through closing including all associated artifacts, engagement with stakeholders providing the customers with IT solutions, and vendor contracts/procurement. The project manager is also expected to produce timely and accurate reporting for senior leadership and identify/monitor any project risk/issue in a proactive manner. The IT Project Manager will strive to build strong partnerships with their PMO team, internal resources and external customers.Qualifications and Education Requirements:3 to 5 years of experience in project managementStrong working knowledge of practical aspects of project managementPrevious experience with IT related projects including managing custom software development and COTS implementation projectsStrong working knowledge of various delivery methodologies including Waterfall and AgileAbility to balance project management process with rapid delivery of benefit to the customerExperience with maintaining all project artifacts including project schedules and budgetsStrong customer focus and servant leader attitudeStrong interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsProblem solving skillsSkilled in the creation of project related documents, including but not limited to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, business cases, research finding, detailed statements of work and status reportingDemonstrated ability to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasksDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizationsDemonstrated ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordinglyDemonstrated ability to build strong relationships inside and outside the organizationDemonstrated ability to be flexible in assignments and work alongside customers from varying backgroundsPreferred Skills:Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum and Agile experienceNote :Shift time8:00 AM - 5:00 PM100% Remote VIVA USA is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a professional working environment that is free from discrimination and unlawful harassment.
