- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with schematic level electronic circuit design (preferably Altium), and/or embedded firmware development (preferably C and C/Qt)
- Experience developing embedded systems running Linux; experience with Raspberry Pi or similar platforms a plus
- 5+ years' experience in new product full lifecycle development and hardware, software and/or systems design engineering in the Electronics and/or Semiconductor industry (any Automotive experience a huge plus!)
- Experience with several of the following system design areas: power electronic design, digital electronic design, PID controllers, communication (ethernet, low-level serial: RS232, 12C, SPI), user interface design, etc.
- Heat pumps, refrigeration and thermal fluid flow a big plus
- Must have experience working with customers and ideally experience as a technical lead or project manager
