Description: Team environment is blended with server administrators, e-mail administrator, network engineers, and telecom specialists. It is a typical IT department that thrives on innovation and figuring out how to make requests work in the environment. We have a large, complex, multi-layered, multi-faceted wide area network with presences in both private and public clouds. We service and collaborate with multiple state agencies, local law enforcement agencies, tribal police, federal agencies, state and national organizations, and multi-state law enforcement agencies.A candidate must be self-starting and willing to dig in and research how the information flows from end to end through multiple subnets and firewalls and install/configure the hardware to make it happen.Current projects include Checkpoint firewall hardware conversion to virtual, Express Route configuration to Azure and Amazon Web Services, upgrading of networks, SD-WAN implementation, and hardware refresh.
