Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of professional experience developing APIs in Java and/or Golang paired with some exposure to API management, infrastructure automation, or site reliability engineering. - 3+ years experience with Java or other JVM language
- RESTful API knowledge and experience
- Quality focus and ability to develop unit and integration tests
- SSH or other Linux scripting language
- Experience working in automated CI/CD ecosystem
- Understanding of the modern SDLC
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience with multiple programming languages - a combination of Java and Golang most preferred
- Experience with implementing web services at scale.
- Experience with Kubernetes, container technology (Docker, ECS, EKS).
- Experience with microservice and/or event-driven frameworks (SpringBoot, Micronaut, etc.)
- Experience with event brokers like Kafka
- MS or higher in computer science
- You will be part of a dynamic group of engineers managing and modernizing an API gateway that handles thousands of APIs across the organization
- Write and modify microservices built primarily in Java but also work with other services written in Golang, Kotlin, NodeJS, and others.
- Quality code is essential to this team so you will assist with improving all forms of automated testing (unit, integration, functional etc
- Help troubleshoot, analyze and root cause issues in the platform
