Acts as an expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures.

Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.

Develops standards and best practices for engineering complex, large scale technology solutions to address highly complex and typically cross-organizational issues, while maintaining broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines while partnering with other key experts.

Maintains knowledge of industry best practices new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.

May represent Wells Fargo to external industry groups, influencing industry standards.

Provides expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advises and mentors others with the goal of knowledge transfer

Required Qualifications10+ years of engineering experience; or 10+ years of experience in a technical management role

5+ years of Apache Spark design and development experience using Scala, Java, Python or Data Frames with Resilient Distributed Datasets (RDDs)

3+ years of experience in one or more business intelligence tools

2+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development experience using Talend

Desired QualificationsA Masters degree or higher in computer science or finance

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

3+ years of experience with machine learning tools

A Master's degree or higher

Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change

Strong customer relationship management skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired QualificationsA Masters degree or higher in computer science or finance

An industry-standard technology certification

Basic knowledge of industry regulations related to building technological solutions

Experience with Spark, Hive and Kafka

3+ years of experience with design, implementation and governance experience with Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning architecture

4 + years of statistical modeling experience using the R programming language

Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used in: statistical analysis, modeling, and reporting

Knowledge and understanding of modeling techniques such as ANOVA, Decision Tree, Neural, Logistic, and Monte Carlo

SAS programming experience in model implementation, reporting, and complex data manipulations

Experience with Tensorflow, Theano or Keras
