A software product company is hiring multiple Java software engineers on a direct hire basis. They've been around for 30 years and have been rapidly growing. They're a leader in electronic documentation software solutions and looking to bring on several Java engineers. You would be helping modernize some of their legacy applications and develop new features and enhancements on others. You'll be apart of a tight-knit group and responsible for software development of the next gen of their SaaS products (over 30 unique products) used by consumers and businesses nationwide. They constantly have rotating and customer-driven feature requests and are looking to expand the team to help with the new development projects that are on the horizon. - 3+ years of professional experience in software development
- Strong core Java skills, ideally version 8 or above
- Some knowledge of web frameworks
- API development (REST)
- Relational databases - SQL, MySQL (most preferred), Oracle etc.
- Structured software development methodologies - Scrum
- Strong Documentation skills
- Git, Subversion, or similar tool for source control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must
- BS in CS/CE/EE or similar
- Prior work on commercial grade SaaS products
- Knowledge of front end, specifically Angular
- MongoDB or other non-relational data store
