RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, a growing company in the Phoenix, AZ area, is seeking a Senior DDI Network Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. The company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, Annual bonus, 401K matching, etc.

Responsibilities of the Senior DDI Network Engineer: Act as the Senior Engineer to support an IPAM/DDI Environment Ensure the DDI Infrastructure (DNS, DHCP & IP Management) are managed properly and maintain a quality of excellence as a result of the criticality Investigate, diagnose, and document incidents and problems relating to DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Management) The Senior DDI Network Engineer will ensure that DDI system improvements and changes are implemented in a safe manner, ensuring backout plans are proven and tested Define the capacity and performance standards, metrics, analytics, and thresholds and help build the instrumentation to effectively manage the environment Create written standards and associated support documentation for DNS, DHCP and IP Management as well as DNS Client resolver standards to ensure proper failover for DNS clients As a Senior DDI Network Engineer you will create Processes and Procedures for users requesting IPAM services assistance such as: Requesting DHCP scopes, Bulk Imports of DNS or IP data, User Access and permissions, exports of IP & DNS data Create/maintain diagrams of all IPAM Service environments: DNS & DHCP Help Identify and manage risks within the DDI Infrastructure Define Change Management policies around DDI Changes allowed and acceptable Change Windows Ensure backup & restore procedures for the DDI system are configured properly and are documented clearly The Senior DDI Network Engineer reviews Query log & Error log data regularly to detect issues Provide support to maintain External domains and Registrar services, policies & access

REQUIREMENTS: B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience 5-7+ years of experience and In-depth knowledge of DNS BIND and DHCP in a large enterprise (Configuration and Management) Linux systems administration experience, DDI (DNS, DHCP and IP Management) or network engineering Extensive and recent experience and In-depth knowledge of DNS BIND and DHCP in a large enterprise (Configuration and Management) Strong critical thinking and problem-solving and the ability to debug complex-cross systems problems and document root cause including remediation and detection Demonstrates knowledge of a broad range of technology towers such as: Storage, Virtualization, Networking, Data Center Migration and Disaster Recovery Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met Senior Linux experience & skills preferred Experience with Microsoft DNS preferred Experience creating networks, subnets, DHCP Scopes DNS experience such as configuring a DNS server, knowing the processes running on a DNS server, etc. Self-driven with the ability to manage workload without direct supervision Anticipating potential problems and acting to minimize the impact they may have on a project or business effort Ability to collaborate with different technology towers to achieve common goals Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously Executes within a customer-centric environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Shell Scripting experience desired (Bash, Perl, Awk, Sed)
