As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for building user interfaces, manage and create APIs, and develop and debug AEM issues. You will also be developing technical solutions to enhance the American Express One-CMS platform. There are hundreds of opportunities to make your mark on technology and life at American Express. Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation

Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies

Taking responsibility for the quality of the code and its delivery to production

Performing code reviews & pair programming; defining and implementing best practices

Find your place in technology on #TeamAmex.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in computer science or information technology

8 years of software development experience

8 years of experience in core Java development / design / architecture

6 years of experience with cloud-based software design, building microservices, and automated testing and deployment

4 years of experience building web solutions using Angular or React

Expert level knowledge of AEM 6.3 platform

Proficient in building applications and custom workflows using AEM technologies (Java/Sling/Sightly/JCR).Constantly challenge the status quo to improve application performance for content authors and content consumers.

Experienced with J2EE and OSGi development

Be receptive to the rapidly evolving web standards while providing creative solutions.

Lead the development, testing and deployment of Adobe Experience Management (AEM) Web applications.

Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks in AEM & Passionate about code quality standards.

Know what it takes to troubleshoot AEM apps.

Expertise in agile life-cycle management tools (JIRA/Rally), software testing standards, methods and conventions

Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners

Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Adobe Analytics
