The position includes defining software requirement, writingclean and efficient code for various applications and running tests to improvesystem functionality. Implement and maintain Java components and frameworksthroughout the software development life cycle.KeyResponsibilities·Helping to implement proof of concepts for new technologies·Designing and writing software optimized for functionality, maintainability, and automation·Building next generation RESTful web services·Working closely with product owners to help gather and refine requirements·Advising product owners of key technology concepts and implementing customerrequirements in a timely manner·Applying a system thinking mindset to the work needed·Performing design and code reviews·Evaluating project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform processre-engineering if required·Analyzing the business impact that certain technical choices may have on a client’s businessprocesses·Continuously researching emerging technologies and proposing improvemets to the existingarchitectureEssentialSkills and Experience·At least 6-8 years in core Java·Strong coding experience in Java·Strong knowledge of service-based solutions built in Java·Working knowledge of Spring Framework is highly desired·Clear solutions-orientated thinker·Good knowledge of common open source frameworks·Excellent written and verbal communication skills·Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system principles·Database design, knowledge of SQL standard and database operations·Experience with Junit·Strong background in data security is preferred·Maven build experience is a plusDesirableSkills and Experience·Abilityto work on existing complex health care system· Ability to adapt· Out of the box thinker
