You will be expected to directly assist the surgeon during the actual surgery.To be successful in this role you must have the ability to maintain focus while multitasking, remain calm under pressure, and exercise good judgment in emergency situations.While you’re busy impacting the healthcare industry, we’ll take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, adoption assistance, and more.ResponsibilitiesOur twelve-room OR suite maintains a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, which enables us to form close relationships with patients and their families during very difficult times. We also feature a 44-bay multi-level PACU with staff dedicated to trauma and other emergency cases. Our PACU features a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Throughout the unit we are committed to using the latest technology, affording staff the opportunity to constantly learn and enhance their skills. As a Level I Trauma Center, we are operational 24/7.Responsibilities in iCIMS:Assist surgeon and surgical team in the OR

Care for patients before, during, and after procedures

Develop and implement nursing care plan for surgical patients

Ensure operating rooms are prepped with all necessary equipment and supplies

Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients
