Position : Voice Engineer

Location : Phoenix AZ

Description/Comment:Mid Level: Skills equiv. to 3-5 years in comparable position. Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of networked information systems. Must be comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization, as well as with Business Partners. In depth knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, IP strategies, and all aspects of Cisco deployments is required. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Broad overall network experience is a plus, including Design, Engineering, Integration, and Operations. A CCIE certification is preferred but not required.

Additional Job Details: Ideal location is PHX office What youll do: Utilize Cisco CUCM and all associated components for installation, overall configuration, and ongoing support. Perform incident response and break-fix triage for issues related to infrastructure platforms. Provide support in troubleshooting of collaboration product performance issues. Partner with key vendors and providers to escalate and troubleshoot severity issues. Utilize performance monitoring and capacity planning software tools to model and analyze collaboration systems. Participate in projects and tasks based on business needs. Create configurations related to phone add, moves, changes, as well as voicemail and other system settings. Assisting with a Network Automation plan with a focus on applying configuration standards, and process improvement Analyze and execute configuration and audit strategies to assist in ensuring compliance with standard settings and security direction, including but not limited to server patching, platform specific patches and/or upgrades. Conduct peer review analysis and acceptance for new or modified processes to ensure sustainability and repeatability.

What you have: Minimum of four (4) years Cisco VOIP engineering experience working in an enterprise environment Requires an understanding and work experience of Unified Communications infrastructure, hardware, and software, including in-depth experience, skill, and knowledge of Cisco Call Manager software and infrastructure configuration. Overall understanding of network design and engineering Requires excellent problem solving and analytic skills to effectively address the needs of customers, including experience handling problem escalations and notifications. Strong balance of technical expertise, customer facing skills, and communication skills Ability to work autonomously Must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) and technical understanding to take complex technical concepts and present them to a range of technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated capacity for attention to detail, as well as organization of self & others. Self-motivated, solutions oriented and pro-active. Able to use collaboration tools to work effectively in a team environment where team members will not be co-located
