Role: Website Designer / Developer Location: Phoenix, AZ / Initial Remote Type of Hire: Permanent Job Description: This new role will be an integral member of the Global Business Travel Technology team while working closely with the Global Marketing and Prospect Acquisition team. He/she will be a key subject matter expert in integrating Website redesign, updates, optimization, and maintenance. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage creation and/or customization, technical integration, and activation of newly designed Wordpress templates and new pages
- Partner with Website Manager to execute Website revamp and optimizing strategies from recommendation through implementation
- Manage deployments to staging and production with technology team and creative agency developer/manager
- Use Automated/Semi Automated CI/CD deployment pipeline to automate deployment of code and other artifacts from development through production deployment, and operations.
- Troubleshoot website bugs and issues
- Establish a Website maintenance routine, conducting audits to identify performance issues and provide solutions to improve and optimize Website performance
- Update and optimize Wordpress interface and functionality
- Coordinate with GBT technology team on security updates, remediation of identified vulnerabilities, and upgrades to technology stack
- Partner with Website Manager on website roadmap to align with marketing objectives
- Manage activation of Ad Hoc Website update requests
- Keep abreast and advise on technical best practices and frameworks
- Work in Agile manner with Web Site Manager, TPM or Scrum Master to create, estimate, track, and deliver on user stories.
