Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
Perform industrial cleaning and commercial cleaning duties across assigned facilities.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and other common areas.
Conduct floor care activities including buffing, mopping, and vacuuming.
Carry out custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure optimal functionality of the building.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain cleanliness standards.
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management.
Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Experience
Previous experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with custodial practices and floor care techniques is advantageous.
Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
