Position Mission
Ensure the company’s portfolio of short-term rental homes (vacation rentals) receives consistent preventative maintenance and prompt on-demand repairs, delivering a 5-star guest experience at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Routine Maintenance & Property Care
Mow, trim, and blow lawns weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on season and property needs
Trim bushes monthly at all properties
Spray and remove weeds monthly
Clean and maintain pools and hot tubs weekly (or more frequently as needed) to a sparkling, guest-ready condition
Schedule HVAC tune-ups every spring and change air filters quarterly
Execute a unit quality checklist during every property visit
Conduct routine property visits the day before trash day
Place trash and recycling bins at the curb and return them according to each property’s schedule
Combine tasks efficiently during each visit (e.g., lawn care and pool maintenance on the same trip)
Ensure properties are always guest-ready, clean, and well-maintained
On-Call & Guest Issue Response
Respond to the Guest Experience Department within 30 minutes
Address urgent guest issues within 2 hours
Communicate progress clearly with both Guest Experience and guests when needed
Always knock and announce yourself before entering a property, even if it appears vacant
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience in property maintenance, handyman services, or vacation rental care
Strong knowledge of basic repairs, landscaping, pool/spa care, and preventative maintenance
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties
Strong time management and ability to prioritize urgent issues
Professional communication skills and guest-first mindset
Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties efficiently
This role requires the use of your own pickup truck, and candidates should live within a 15–20 minute drive of our office at 1210 W Alameda Dr., Suite 104, Tempe.
