- Serving as the Federal point of contact for local infrastructure owners and operators requiring assistance in protection planning.
- Serving as the Department of Homeland Security liaison to other Federal agencies, state, local and tribal governments, and the private sector on voluntary security and resilience matters relative to the protection of the Nation's Critical Infrastructure.
- Leading the DHS effort in developing strategies to identify and assess key critical infrastructure through high level coordination with Federal, State, Local, Tribal, Territorial (FSLTT) executive level officials responsible for critical infrastructure protection.
- Leading and develops complex, three-year-long, multi-sector Regional Resilience Assessment Program (RRAP) projects that examine physical and cyber resilience and inform long-term DHS, CISA and IOD strategic goals, as well as national policy.
- Organizing, coordinating, supporting, and delivering DHS training programs; and conducts workshops, conferences and information sharing forums for FSLTT and the private sector.
- Deploying to Joint Field Offices or State Emergency Operations Centers during natural and human-caused disasters to advise emergency responders on critical infrastructure impacts and restoration priorities.
