SUMMARY

The Field Technician is responsible for the installation, ongoing service and troubleshooting of audio, video, surveillance, access control and networking equipment & systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Installation and termination of CAT6, COAX and Fiber infrastructure

Installation, Programming and Set Up of Flat Screen TV’s

Installation, Programming and Set Up of Cable TV, Satellite & Streaming Devices

Installation and Set Up of Speakers, Amplifiers, Matrix and Mixers

Installation, Programming and Set Up of Surveillance Camera Systems

Installation, Programming and Set Up Access Control Systems

Installation, Programming and Set Up of Alarm Systems

Installation, Programming and Set Up of Routers, Switches and Access Points

REQUIRED SKILLS

Excellent customer service principles and techniques.

Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite

Communicate with customers and clients by telephone and email.

Valid Driver’s License

Clean Driving Record

Clean and Professional Appearance

Standard, Basic Hand Tools

Ability to read Drawings, Blueprints, spreadsheets, instruction manuals

Exercise independent initiative and judgment and establish priorities for own workload.

Interpret and explain rules, regulations, and policies.

Make decisions on both routine and non-routine problems.

Work cooperatively with others.

Work under pressure to meet tight time schedules and deadlines, and handle problems and tasks that come up simultaneously or unexpected.
