Door refinishing company seeks someone who desires to increase their experience in a specialized, skilled trade. This position is for the person who takes pride in what they accomplish, is a go getter, and is attentive to detail. Requirements:
Someone who is reliable, responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
Finishing experience is a plus
Enjoy working outdoors
Has some skill or keen interest in woodworking
Ability to lift, with assistance, heavy doors
Takes direction and thinks on their feet
Organized
Typical Day:
Arrive on job at 6:00am or at the time requested by supervisor
Interaction with client as necessary
Setting up work area
Assist with removal of door
Continually keeping things organized and clean
Assist with sanding, spraying, or finishing
Assist with hanging of door
Clean-up of work area
Ensuring all tools are accounted for and stored properly in their designated place
Maintain safe working environment and upon completion of day's work ensure job site is clean and clear of debris.
Maintain inventory on truck
Position starts immediately, is hourly and compensation will be based on skill. Work week is generally Monday Friday with occasional required Saturdays.
