We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Flooring Field Supervisor to oversee and manage our flooring installation projects and handle customer service concerns. This role involves managing crews, ensuring top-quality installations, coordinating with project management teams, and upholding the highest quality control standards.
Core Responsibilities
Supervise, lead, and mentor installation crews and foremen on various commercial and industrial flooring projects (e.g., carpet, LVT, tile, epoxy, resinous systems).
Ensure all installations meet company, manufacturer, and client quality standards through regular jobsite inspections and quality control checks.
Communicate job expectations clearly to team members, address quality concerns, and provide daily progress reports to project management.
Prioritize safety by following and enforcing all OSHA and company safety standards and procedures.
Conduct job walks, manage punch lists, and oversee project closeouts.
Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to develop the skills of field employees.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external clients regarding progress and expectations.
Handle on site customer service issues and resolve as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of experience in flooring production supervision or a foreman role.
Strong understanding of various flooring systems (e.g., Vinyl plank, laminate, wood flooring, carpet) and floor preparation techniques (moisture mitigation, slab evaluations).
Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage daily production levels effectively.
Ability to read specifications, interpret scopes of work (SOWs), and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and an ability to learn project management software.
Valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel regularly to jobsites in the Phoenix metro-area.
Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
