Responsibilities

A Day In The Life Of a Full Stack Developer:

The Enterprise Technology Property & Casualty Claims Department is looking for Full Stack Developers for the Auto Property Workflow Modernization product teams where you will be building claim applications on the Salesforce platform along with developing other cross platform capabilities. These teams are looking for knowledgeable, results-oriented developers to help build, deliver, and support high priority solutions aligning to the Claims Modern Associate Experience (MAX) initiative. While Salesforce and full stack experience is desired, teams will also provide hands on training alongside experienced developers.

The developers aligned to these teams are providing a critical role in enabling our modernization efforts for ET P&C Claims. The chosen developers will be assigned to small, persistent teams utilizing product management principles and agile development and will also have the opportunity to contribute towards improving our approach to continuous integration and continuous delivery. Any business knowledge or experience working with Auto Claims would be beneficial. Each product team will build and support a modernized solution that has a UI component build on the Salesforce platform and will also include back-end components such as REST APIs and additional services tied to our legacy system.

Qualifications

Need Experience with the following:
  • Experience with HTML and modern JavaScript development
  • Expertise in creating CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Gitlab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Understanding of Web Services and APIs.
  • Champion of Information Security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Product Management and Agile principles.
  • Familiarity with Data Management concepts (Governance, Quality, and Administration).
  • Understanding of Disaster Recovery, Fail Over, and Redundancy Promoter of Automated Testing.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness & ability to learn new technologies
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a changing & fast-paced agile development environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends.

Desired skills include:
  • Experience with Salesforce development and/or with Salesforce Lightning Web Components
  • Knowledge and/or Experience with Angular and Python
  • Best Practices Knowledge and/or Experience with AWS
  • Experience leading agile software development teams.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to breakdown complex technical problems in a way that technical and non-technical audiences can understand.
