Job Title : Jasper Reports Developer

Job Location : Phoenix, AZ - This position is worked remote during the pandemic . The resource will have to report in person their first day for onboarding.

Contract Duration : At least 6 Months from projected start date

JOB SUMMARY: As a Jasper Reports Developer you will work closely with Data Management and Production Support teams. All team activities are managed using

Atlassian Agile and

JIRA. The ASRS provides a stable work environment and a professional atmosphere that fosters a healthy work-life balance. We enable our Software Engineers to work on every part of the application: automated tests, user interface, controller logic, back-end services and database operations. We may have some specialists, but nobody works on just one tier of the application. JQuery, Bootstrap, Java 8, Cucumber, Selenium, Apache Tomcat, the

Spring Framework, Jasper Reports and

Jasper Reports Developers who meet the following requirements to apply.

WORK HISTORY REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of three years developing complex Jasper Reports with Oracle database backend.
Experience in writing complex SQL Queries (Oracle).
Experience with performance tuning of Jasper Reports.
Experience with creating dashboards and different report layouts based on business needs.
Experience with scheduling and emailing of reports.
Experience in interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders for requirements gathering and analysis.
Knowledge of Java application development technologies is desirable.
Familiarity with all facets of the software development lifecycle; preferably with Agile Scrum.
Applied knowledge of version control, configuration management, and continuous integration is desirable

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree is highly desired; preferably in Software Development or Information Technology

Participation in continued education will be considered a plus
