Capital Canyon Club is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Maintenance person to join our Maintenance team.
General Purpose:
Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, pool & spa, water treatment facility, grounds and other areas as required.
Essential Duties:
Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas with in the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings, grounds, swimming pool and waste water treatment facility.
Performs general cleaning and maintenance to swimming pool and spa
Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleanliness of restrooms.
Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
High school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Demands:
Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
No certifications or licenses are required.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences
Basic electrical knowledge preferred
Pool and spa experience preferred but not required
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
