Legend Brands now hiring a Senior Buyer for our Prescott, AZ location. This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team and well-established company. We are looking for driven, tech savvy candidates who will contribute hands on to our expanding organization. This role encompasses hands-on purchasing, strong negotiating, supplier management, process development, statistical analysis, data entry and cost management. The position is also responsible for subordinate training and mentoring with a focus on continuous process improvement. The Senior Buyer must develop strong internal/external relationships within the organization and the supply chain and work closely with supplier base to ensure quality and cost management.

Qualifications:
Successful track record of managing vendors and components while focusing on quality and cost reduction
Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
Experience working with Engineering Departments; capable of reading and understanding component drawings
MRP/ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent written and verbal skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to review business opportunities and effectively present thoughts and ideas on approach & process improvement
Knowledge of both domestic and offshore logistics, a plus
Education and/or Experience:
4-year college degree
5-7 years of related experience
