Painting Company looking for an-experienced person who is willing to work hard 8 hours a day Start as a prepper/labor. I am looking to hire someone who as experience and can be taught the trade from my perspective.
You do need basic hand tools, I will provide what is needed but as you grow and develop your skills the
Expectation will be to start acquiring what you need to eventually become self-reliant/ independent on the job site. Meaning, you dont require someone being over your shoulder keeping an eye on your work
Progress all day long because you will know whats expected, and how to get it done in a clean and timely manner.
My Expectations;
Reliability-you have to have your own transportation,. We work 8 hours a day Monday “Friday with only 1 Saturday every other month. Must bring lunch and water to work every day
Teach-ability.
You must be willing to take direction and follow rules. You are being trained to do the work the way the boss likes it and you will be held to standards of excellence as you train. I am not interested in an employee who already knows it all and does not have room to learn a new way of completing tasks. Be willing to ask questions, if you dont understand you cant perform at your best. You are here to learn and we are here to teach you the skills you need to know to be successful. I will lay out the entire day at the start of the day so there is no question what the expectation /plan for the day is.
Professional appearance-
We are dealing with customers in their homes and they must feel comfortable and secure. So with that said, I am not interested in anyone who does not care about their professional appearance or the customers. You are expected to purchase new white painters pants. I will provide company shirts long sleeve winter shirts .Appearances are a huge importance in the service industry and I take pride in the company and its employees.
Pay-Hourly You will be paid based on experience, your pay will be tiered. What that means is as you gain experience and prove yourself to be a dependable employee you will receive increase in pay commensurately. This will be discussed in further detail in person .
