Prescott website design company is looking for part-time technical operations manager with experience in multiple CMS and website builders including WordPress, SquareSpace and Shopify. Must be organized, trustworthy, have critical thinking skills, good problem solving skills, a good attitude and be willing to learn.
Technical Operations Manager
The TOM role is a part-time position (24 hours per week) responsible for website development tasks across multiple platforms including WordPress, SquareSpace and Shopify. Typical tasks will include programming and system design, plugin configuration, custom PHP or JavaScript coding, designing for accessibility needs, installing SSL certificates, properly configuring websites for SEO, installing analytics tracking, and optimizing websites for high speed performance.
The TOM is also responsible for developing and maintaining our Security & Maintenance Program. This includes maintaining our hosting environment, running monthly WordPress software updates, troubleshooting any plugin or other site errors that arise, supporting our design team with as needed support on website improvement projects from within our existing client base, and acting as a liaison with our Security Service Provider to ensure the removal of all Malware issues that arise.
Qualifications
2-5 years Web Development Experience in WordPress, including experience maintaining hosting and security
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript
Ability to design custom systems that integrate multiple plugins with custom visual design and custom coding for an optimal front-end experience
Good client communication and customer service skills
Detail oriented with an ability to track multiple tasks and see them through from start to finish
This is a part-time position ranging from 20-24 hrs/week
Compensation: $21-$23/hour (DOE)
