Mid Level Business Analyst, Payments - Remote - 12+ month contractSummary:Execute remittance projects and execute project tasks such as requirements gathering, test plan creation, test case creation, test execution, training supports and operations manual creation. Remittance projects include ongoing payment platform replacement as well as ISO20022 Migration for SWIFT/FedWire/CHIPS. Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned project tasks such as requirement gathering and documentation, test plan creation, test case creation, test execution, user training supports, operations manual creation, etc.
- Provide project management functions from both operations and system standpoints, by leading requirements gathering as well as by coordinating user test planning and training with the relevant business departments
- Work closely with business stakeholders to plan and manage to achieve the goal view of project tasks including user training documents and operation procedures
- Create work breakdown structure and organize user testing
- Provide supports to the Unit Manager to ensure all related initiatives are maintained on schedule and completed as scheduled.
- Must have 3-5 years of business analysis experience related to payments processing for a major financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of high value payments (HVP) including SWIFT messages and Fedwire/CHIPS including payments related to Customer Remittance and FX products.
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
- Hands-on experience supporting Funds transfer applications and process is a plus
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Outlook)
