Job Title: Ruby on Rails developer

Location: Carlsbad, California or Scottsdale, Arizona (open to remote for a strong candidate)

Duration: Long term contract

About This Job: As a Ruby on Rails developer, you will work as a member of our Contact Center team to enhance and maintain our existing in-house developed CRM application. This is a full stack development position where you will work closely with the business to develop features and improvements to the core system.

Responsibilities:

5+ years of full stack development and architectural experience using Ruby on Rails technologies including legacy versions (Ruby 1.8.7 & Rails 1.2)
Some experience in leading technical designs, mentoring engineers, and helping to drive engineering maturity
Solid level experience in building mobile & desktop MVC web applications, RESTful API design, Microservices architecture and patterns
Some experience in single page applications using Angular, React, or Vue and comfortable with HTML5, CSS processors, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Gulp
Some hands-on experience and/knowledge in domain-based architecture, DDD, and micro frontends
Some hands-on experience with building high-performance applications in a hybrid environment
Some experience working in and operationalizing real-time streaming and distributed messaging platforms such as Redis, ActivMQ, Kafka, and Elastic Search
Experience with Service Fabric, Azure Cloud
Agile software delivery experience (iterative planning and delivery)
Experience with Jira, TFS, ADO, or other agile tools
Excellent communication skills, builds strong working relationships, and high degree of team collaboration
