Description As a Web Developer for marketing sites, you will be responsible for the UI implementation, development, and iteration of these projects. Responsibilities for this role include developing a modern, fast, and accessible Gatsby website integrated with third-party services such as Sanity.io, Zendesk Help Center, Algolia, and possibly other GraphQL and REST APIs. In addition, you to use best practices, monitor and improve performance metrics, implement mobile-first design patterns, and leverage cutting-edge web technologies. Responsibilities: - Maintain a clear line of communication with stakeholders to ensure the whole team is up to date on progress and deliverables.
- Work in a squad-based team to define project requirements, updates, issues, and other needs from the group.
- Regularly attend meetings and SCRUMs to update the team on upcoming releases, identify project needs, iterate on existing features, and discuss upcoming features.
REQUIREMENTS: Proficient in: - Building fast, modern websites
- Experience implementing accessible UI
- Strong communication skills
- Passion working with cutting-edge web technologies.
- Ability to respond to business objectives with creative, innovative design solutions.
- Knowledge of modern front-end tools
- HTML, CSS, and pre/post processors
- Modern JavaScript (ESNext)
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) on client or server side.
- Experience building component-based UI systems.
- Design patterns and development best practices
Knowledgeable in: - TypeScript
- React
- NodeJS and JAMStack
- Web development frameworks (Next.js, Gatsby)
- Serverless functions
- Version Control (Git)
- Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
- Site Performance Metrics
- Responsive, mobile-first UI development
Extra awesome to have: - Experience in UI design
- Familiarity with traditional graphic design principles
- Experience with a headless CMS (Sanity.io, Prismic, Contentful, or similar products)
