Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense team could use your ACAS Application Systems talent!

We are seeking a full-time Applications Systems Analyst with ACAS experience.

Location: The role is located in Ft. Huachuca, AZ and will be full time, on site.Clearance: You must hold a current DOD Secret clearance to qualify.

This position will support the ACAS team, which provides enterprise services in a cutting-edge Cyber environment. Under general direction, you will formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs. You will devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. You will prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Additionally, you will analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and document as necessary. In this role, you must be competent to work at the highest technical level within all phases of applications systems analysis activities.

Job Description:
  • Provision, test, and monitor policy changes for Information Systems
  • Correct system and application problems identified in event logs
  • Review and monitor event logs and user access logs provide routine system updates
  • Identify basic network and system fault corrections
  • Provide account management services to create, modify, and delete administrator and user accounts
  • Respond to automatically generated trouble tickets for changes in status and assign them to the appropriate analyst
  • Monitor, maintain, and develop scripts for automated processing
  • Provide guidance to team members as required
  • Patch systems
  • Troubleshoot application errors, operating system(s), server hardware, network communications and storage allocation issues within the ACAS environment.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to trace and resolve technical problems.
  • Utilize Remedy ITSM to track and resolve problems impacting continued system operations and make recommendations for any corrective actions required.
  • Plan, coordinate, and document the use of revised/updated procedures, processes, and methods for the operations and maintenance of the ACAS infrastructure.
  • Provide "on-call" support after business hours and during weekends when required

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide new/existing process review, analysis, creation for ACAS platforms.
  • Responsible for all maintenance/issues/research/resolution of support module applications in the ACAS environments.
  • Technical Writer for ACAS documents, manuals/user guides, processes, flow charts, policies and knowledge bases, at a local (employees) and web-site (user-facing) level.
  • Responsible for testing, configuration, implementation and deployment of ACAS Security Centers and Nessus scanners.
  • Responsible for RHEL 6, 7 configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for testing, knowledge, and accountability for ACAS CCRI inspections.
  • Develop and promote standard operating procedures to ensure the security posture of the environment.
  • Develops strategies for the monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery of applications.
  • Engaging in continuous learning to stay abreast on new and emerging technologies that relate to application software/systems.
  • Ensure compliance with established IT standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma and 6+, Associate's Degree and 4+, or Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of IT experience.
  • Must hold an ACTIVE DoD Secret clearance
  • Must hold current IAT II certification (GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP)
  • Must obtain DISA ACAS v5.3 within 180 days of start on program
