Description Robert Half is in the Tempe, Arizona seeking for our new Collection Specialist to join one of the Fortune 500 companies. The Collection Specialist is a hybrid role with full onsite training, so we are seeking local talent with open availability from 8 am - 8 pm Monday through Friday. The Collection Specialist is a long-term contract with opportunities to grow within a large financial company! The Collection Specialist is a great opportunity for someone with a collection or customer services experience with call center environment comfortability.Daily Tasks as a Collection Specialist:Handle d large volume of customer inquiries regarding account reconciliation, past-due payments, and/or credit.
Updating and editing customers' accounts frequently while following up with management to meet daily goals.
Process claims as needed.
Providing excellent customer service to maintain and build rapport with each customer.
Ability to work collectively and independently to meet goals.
Requirements
Requirements:High School Diploma required/ College degree acceptable.
Minimum 1+ years of customer services experience
Minimum 1+ years of collections; preferably credit cards, bankruptcy/ payments experience
Minimum 1+ years of call center experience is a plus (handle 35+ inbound/outbound calls)
Open availability Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm PST and one Saturday out of the month 8am - 8 pm PST
Available to start immediately with limited days off.
