Description This role is also eligible for a $1,500 sign on bonus. This sign on bonus of $1500 will be paid in 1 installment after 90 days of employment. Team member must be active at the time of the payout. IN THE ROLEHelp customers with all financial servicing needs through both inbound and outbound contact.
Contact customers to help them to fulfill their financial obligations by arranging for repayment or settlement of account balances offering other borrower’s assistance options. Our work focuses on our existing customers who have long term relationships with us.
Work with our clients in a consultative manner in accordance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures
Negotiate with customers to resolve account matters
Maintain and notate all appropriate information and documentation on customer and account status. Collaborate with others on the team involved with collecting and servicing of accounts
Investigate, research, and track consumer information using online skip tracing tools
Work together as both team member and individual contributor in a goal-oriented environment to meet individual and team targets
Maintain compliance with FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) and state regulations
The average work week has three days during standard business hours (8am – 5pm) and up to two late nights of 11am – 8pm. The schedule includes at least one Saturday per month, one late Friday (until 7pm) and some extended hours at the end of each month.Scheduling: We do our best to have it one month in advance for consistency and a better work/life balance. We offer schedule bids – they rank their preference on late night, and we compare their wants to the business need – we do our best to provide a great work/life balance that meets their needs as well as the business – should keep in mind there are usually 20+ other team members they can switch shifts, including nights and weekends when needed in one off situations.Training:In-office, 4 weeks long and mandatory (no PTO allowed). Training is from 9a-6p M-F. During training they will do either late stage, bankruptcy, or credit card collections based on their skill level. NO TIME OFF can be taken during training.Dress Code:If you work in a corporate, non-branch location, you can wear jeans and denim skirts. Denim apparel should be tasteful-without holes and frays. You can also wear athletic shoes and company branded t-shirtsRequirements RequirementsHS Diploma/GED
Preferred RequirementsA proven track record of an ability to listen and offer appropriate products or services
Sales or collections experience in retail, call-center, or business to business environments is highly preferred
Demonstrated customer service skills
Excellent and engaging communication skills
Multi-tasking and goal achieving
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
Capability to quickly analyze challenging problems / situations and provide solutions
Bilingual: Spanish
