Responsibilities

The Claims Delivery Services team supports the processes that provide claims documentation and reports in the event of litigation against State Farm. The primary work effort/area of focus for the resource will be to continue to work on modernization of Claims Delivery Services in alignment with Claims technology strategy and provide production support and handle service outages.

The technology modernization efforts include:
  • Architecting and developing Claims Delivery Services API this will allow the team to begin sunsetting WAS and TP2 ultimately reducing the technical debt
  • Seamless Integration with applications in alignment with the future state architecture
  • Collaboration with multiple areas and product teams to enable the ability to fully leverage technology to reduce complexity and streamline current business processes
  • Respond to production issues and plan for upcoming software and hardware rollouts in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Hands on experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting software solutions on AWS platform.
  • Hands on working experience with programming language (Java, JS, NodeJS, Python) Dev-Sec-ops and/or SRE experience.
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Strong software development skills
  • BA/BS from accredited University
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
