Description:Maintenance technician working with Safeway location in Tempe. Site is filled with conveyor systems bottling milk and molding the containers. There are only around 55 employees total at this location so it is a much smaller scale with lots of personal time for training and development.Entry-level technician to provide mechanical and electrical support of all components, systems, and subsystems to ensure proper operations within a dairy processing and manufacturing plant. Shall make all repairs, replacements, and adjustments to all installed equipment as well as maintain structural integrity of the facility, as directed.

Shift: Train on first shift 4am-12pm for first couple months and will be moved to night shift
Night shift is 8pm-4amPay is DOE - 28-35/hour
lower end: someone who has worked on conveyors in the past and done preventative/reactive maintenance in an industrial environment

General knowledge of plant equipment to include boiler operations, types of heat exchangers, material control, storage, and handling, refrigeration, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, air compressor operations, electrical distribution, electrical and electronic controls, welding operations.
Knowledge and understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook programs.
